Alison is delighted to announce that she will be writing TWO regular columns for the new teachers magazine published by the Literacy Club. The first issue of this exciting magazine is due out in March next year and will include lots of creative ideas for the classroom, along with an edition for children with stories, poems and games.

Latest Book News!

Alison is delighted to report that the wonderful Children's Author, Poet and Laureate Michael Rosen will be writing a foreword to her latest book on storytelling. This book is due out in March next year.

Alison is currently working on some dark fantasy teen fiction tales for reluctant readers. Watch this space for further details!

Exciting New Column

Alison will be writing a new column in the guise of Kirsten Riddle for Chat-Its Fate magazine.
The column, which will start in early 2010 will be called Kirsten Riddle's Magic Page, and will include lots of interesting folklore facts and helpful suggestions to bring a little magic into the everyday!

Stories as a Tool for Transformation

Alison has just completed a feature on how stories can be used as a tool for personal transformation and development. This piece will be published in the August issue of Natural Health magazine, which also features Alison's regular column Spirit Spritzer!

Child Education Column

Hot off the press! Alison's new Creative Solutions column starts in the July issue of Child Education magazine, available on June 18th. She is also featured in the June issue out now.

Magical Creatures Series

Alison has been commissioned to write a series of short articles on magical creatures in folklore for Chat-Its Fate magazine. The series will appear in a forthcoming annual next year.

New Storytelling Book

Alison has just signed a contract with Carroll & Brown to write a book about storytelling and reading activities with babies and small children. The book will be a practical guide to storytelling, with lots of creative ideas that parents and carers can use with small children to stimulate the imagination and develop reading skills.
